Hey, I’m Lada!

I was born in the mountains and that connection to wild places has shaped not only my life but also the way I see and photograph people. Jasper has become home and I’ve lived and photographed here long enough to know that the mountains don’t always follow the plan — and honestly, I wouldn’t want them to.

I know which locations come alive at different times of day, where the light disappears first, how long it actually takes to get from one place to another, and what to do when the weather decides to change everything. I’m drawn to natural light, real emotions and all the little moments that happen when you forget the camera is there. I’ll give you direction when you need it, keep things relaxed when you don’t, and help you make the most of the day.
